Rexro Privacy Policy

Welcome to Rexro. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Rexro app and the rexro.app website (together, the "Service"), how we use, share and protect it, and the rights you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

Data you provide:

Account data: your name, username, email address or mobile number, password, and sign-in method (email, Google or Apple).
Profile data: profile photo, cover image, bio and the links you add.
Content: the videos, photos, stories, text, comments, hashtags and sounds you post, and any locations you choose to tag.
Messages: the text, voice notes, media and gifts you send in private chats.
Transaction data: coin and subscription purchases, gifts sent and received, and withdrawal requests, including the payment method and account number you provide for payouts.
Reports and support requests you send us.

Data we collect automatically:

Device and usage data: device type and operating system, push notification token, app language, last time you used the app, and your activity in the Service such as views, likes, stars, saves and follows.
Location data: we estimate your approximate location (country, region, city and time zone) from your IP address. If you grant location permission, we use your precise location to show content and live streams near you. You can turn off location access in your device settings at any time.
Live and voice room data: your participation in live streams, voice rooms and calls, such as the rooms you join, your role and when you took part.

Device permissions: we ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, notifications and location only when you use a feature that needs it, such as filming, going live, recording a voice note or scanning a QR code. Face effects and filters are applied on your device.

2. How we use your data

To run the Service, create and manage your account, and show your profile and content to others according to your settings.
To enable messaging, live streaming, voice rooms, gifts and competitions.
To personalize the content we recommend, including content near you.
To process purchases, gifts, earnings and withdrawal requests.
To send notifications about your activity and the Service.
To moderate content, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep users safe, including automated screening of photos and videos.
To show ads where they are enabled.
To analyze and improve the Service and respond to your requests.
To comply with laws and regulatory requirements.

3. What others can see

Your profile (name, username, photo, bio, links and follower counts), your public posts and comments, and your participation in public live streams and rooms are visible to other users, and links to them can be shared outside the app. You can limit who sees your posts to your followers in the app's privacy settings.

4. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed with:

Google Firebase: sign-in, messaging and notifications.
Amazon Web Services: storage of photos and videos.
Hostinger: server and database hosting.
100ms and ZEGOCLOUD: voice rooms and live streaming.
RevenueCat, Google Play and the App Store: purchases and subscriptions. We never receive your card details.
SightEngine: automated content screening.
Google Maps and ip-api: location services.
Pusher: real-time updates in the app.
GIPHY: GIF search.
Google AdMob: ads, which may use your device's advertising ID.
Google and Apple, when you sign in with them: we receive basic data such as your name and email address.
Authorities: when required by law or an official request, or to protect our rights and our users' safety.
In a merger, acquisition or sale of the Service's assets, in which case we will notify you.

5. International transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on our providers' servers outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including in the European Union and the United States. We take reasonable steps to keep your data protected in line with this policy and applicable laws.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active, and stories are removed automatically when they expire. When you delete your account, we delete your account along with your posts, stories, comments, likes, follows, links, notifications and withdrawal requests. Messages you sent may remain visible to their recipients, and we may keep some data for as long as needed to comply with the law, resolve disputes or prevent fraud.

7. Your rights

Under applicable laws, including Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

Know how your data is collected and processed.
Access your data and get a copy of it.
Correct or update your data. You can edit most of it directly in the app.
Ask us to delete your data. You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or at rexro.app/delete-account
Withdraw consent for device permissions or notifications at any time in your device settings.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your sign-in details private.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us data, please contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app and at rexro.app/privacy_policy with a new effective date, and we will notify you in the app of any significant changes.
